Mrs Cascarini
Year 1 Curriculum overview autumn 1
Our teacher is Mrs Cascarini and we are supported in our learning by Mrs Simmonds and Lainey. Mrs Bright teaches our class on a Wednesday. We also have some wonderful volunteers who give up their time every week to help us in class, especially with our reading.
We have forest school every week with Mrs Maguire – please send in suitable clothing. We do have waterproofs but warm clothing for under the coveralls is essential as the weather gets colder and wetter.
Books: Your child will bring home their Supersonic Phonic Friends group reading book each week which they have read daily at school with an adult. Please find time to let them practise reading this book with you during the week. We still ask for these books to come in daily as our reading volunteers will try their best to hear them read too.
