GOVERNORS

The Governing Board plays an important role in supporting Oakfield CE Primary School and helping to ensure that every child receives the best possible education.

We work closely with the Headteacher and staff to help shape the school’s future, monitor its progress and make sure resources are used effectively. Our role is to provide support, ask questions, and help ensure that decisions are always made in the best interests of our children.

Everything we do is guided by Oakfield’s vision of “Belong, Believe, Achieve” and our Christian values of Love, Trust, Honesty and Hope. We want every child to feel safe, valued and included, to enjoy learning, and to leave Oakfield with the confidence and skills they need for the next stage of their education.

Our governors come from a range of backgrounds and bring different skills and experiences to the board. We all share a commitment to supporting the school, its staff, its families and, most importantly, its children.

We are proud to be part of the Oakfield family and to serve a school community where children are encouraged to grow, thrive and achieve their full potential.
