VISION & VALUES
Vision Statement: ‘Belong, believe, achieve’
At Oakfield CE Primary School our Christian values of Love, Trust, Honesty and Hope support the spiritual and moral development of our children, families & wider community.
The ‘Oakfield Family’ inspire a love of learning within a caring and safe environment. Children are given every opportunity to shine and succeed, so they can flourish with confidence and continue to achieve well beyond their primary years.
Our Christian values underpin our unwavering belief that every child will, can and has the right to thrive.

In recognition of how important our school values are, we acknowledge individuals from each class who have been observed by staff or their peers to have demonstrated the school values in a Celebration Worship together each week.
When asked what Christian value best describes Oakfield School, one pupil responded, ‘Well it’s easy that isn’t it….they love you here …and that means everything!’
Our School Values are displayed and celebrated throughout the School, including the main hall where you will find quotes such as:
Love:
We love God with all of our heart and we love one another.
‘Love one another as I have loved you’ – John 15 v12
‘Do everything in love’ – Corinthians 16 v 14
Trust:
We trust in God to lead us and show us the right way to live.
‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.’ Proverbs 3 v 5-6
Honesty:
We are honest, truthful and supportive of one another in all situations.
‘If you do the right thing, honesty will be your guide.’ Proverbs 11 v 3
‘Stop telling lies. Let us tell our neighbours the truth for we are all parts of the same body.’ Ephesians 4 v 5
Hope:
Hope is the promise that God will always be with us – now and in the future.
‘May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.’ Romans 15 v13
‘We wait in hope for the Lord; he is our help and shield.’ Psalm 33 v 20
