Welcome Back Message from Mrs Reader – September 2020
It is the end of our first week already and I want to say how proud I am of all of the children. It had been over 5 months since some of the children were last with us and any initial tears were quickly replaced with happy smiles as they were reunited with their friends. They have had to adjust to lots of new routines and have impressed their teachers with how quickly they have settled. I have also been really pleased to see so many children wearing their correct PE uniform, please remember only school jumpers (no hoodies or coloured jumpers).
Finally, Thank you very much for your patience at the beginning and end of each day as we have tried to juggle social distancing at drop off and pick up times, with double the number of families on site. Please can I specifically ask again that only one family member comes onto the school site at pick up and drop off. If one parent carer wants to accompany/greet a child at the front entrance and another at the vehicle entrance, that is fine but please meet up all together off site.
Please remember if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to phone Mrs Crabb on 563732.
Have a lovely weekend and see you all on Monday morning at 8.40am for Magic Breakfast, which has been very popular with the children this week, “The bagels are so scrummy” Sienna -R.
