School Meals and Brexit

Caterlink, the School’s catering suppliers currently purchase 77.9% of its produce from the UK, 19.9% from the EU and 2.2% from RTW They advise they have been liaising with their suppliers and confirm additional stock levels in short term warehouses are being held. They are also looking to hold additional stock levels in kitchens, which combined with the stock being held by their local supplier will be approx. 6 weeks dry holding. Currently they hold 7-10 days stock.

They have an emergency menu to put in place should they need to, however their aim is to keep as close to the current advertised menu as possible, any change to this and we will advise you.
