We believe that every child is unique and should be given the opportunity to grow and shine in all they do. We believe that every child has the right to receive an education which enables them to fulfill their potential in a supportive and caring Christian environment.
The school caters for the needs of all pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, with and without Education and Health Care plans (EHCPs). All teachers plan, set and mark work that is appropriate and relevant to the individual needs of pupils. The school has adopted the graduated model of SEND assessment and provision and the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinator is responsible for overseeing this.
Pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities are encouraged to become increasingly independent and take responsibility within the school.
- The names of the SEND Co-ordinator is Mrs Vikki Reader
- The named Governor for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities is Mrs Helene Allen
