Mrs Stanford & Mrs Doyle-Year 6 (Key Stage 2)
Welcome to Year 6
Summer is approaching, we are working hard in our lovely, bright classroom with views of the Solent, upstairs in the main building.
Mrs Stanford and Mrs Doyle are really proud of how much the Year 6 children have achieved so far this year. Year 6 is a year of hard work and preparation for Secondary school – we love seeing the children’s independence grow as they become more confident individuals; proud of their efforts and achievements.
Our teaching and learning assistants for the Summer term will be Mrs Hallett and Miss Connolly, who have plenty of Key Stage 2 experience, supporting and nurturing the children’s academic and emotional needs. Mrs Doyle will be teaching the class on Monday and Tuesday and Mrs Stanford will be teaching Wednesday to Friday. Mrs Doyle will be in school on Thursday and Friday each week in her role as Strategic Leader for Key Stage 2.
As the Year 6 SATS approach in May, we would like to wish our Year 6 children the best of luck in the upcoming tests. You have all worked so hard and it is now time to see the rewards of all your efforts!
